Can she leave the state with FSS?
BM has FSS this wk and has text twice today saying she is moving to another part of the country. Their custody order spells nothing out. Just say "joint legal and physical custody". They do every other week, but we usually have him more than that. There is nothing on record saying every other week, just a verbal agreement between them. What happens if she leave the state with FSS? I know he could file something with the courts, but he would need to find her first. It would be considered kidnapping would it? I think no be technically she isn't violating any part of the custody order. There is nothing there about moving or distance apart or anything.

She just said she doesn't
She just said she doesn't even want to take FSS just his older half brother. This is going to go over like a ton of bricks. She never really liked FSS as much bc she has to "share" him, whereas his older half brother's father is dead. She said she wants to tell him together at FDH's parent's house? I don't know what to say. Either way the little nerd is going to be hurt.
She said she moving next
She said she moving next Monday. A week and a day. Wants to know if we will take his aquatic frogs and fish. Looks like I rejoin this forum right in time.
This is the second time too.
This is the second time too. Before it was for the Army but she only made it through basic and AIT before they kicked her out for personality disorder.
I am okay with full. I have
I am okay with full. I have been having terrible anxiety issues doing 50/50 because I need structure and clear plans and 50/50 makes it so hard. Who has the soccer cleats? Where is the winter coat? I turn 30 this month so I am over the partying stuff and I plan on still having my own life either way. We will definitely need to think about building a bigger place, but that isn't a bad thing. Hopefully there won't be any teen issues. He is a pretty good kid and I have known him since 1 1/2. I am actually the person he usually asks when asking for premission anyway.
Yeah I am a little worried
Yeah I am a little worried about having problems later on. I plan on suggesting school here and summers with her. Really it is what is best for FSS and the reality is his BM needs to be under psychiatric care and not anyone who needs to have a kid right now. If it was two years ago I would be sweating bullets but we are really doing well right now.
Part of me is happy and part
Part of me is happy and part of me wants to punch her. She left him in 2010 to join the army and returned in 2011. Got herself an early discharge so how bc she missed FSS sooooo much. Now three years later she is pregnant and is moving away to live with FSS halfbrother #1 bc when halfbrother #2 arrives she will need help caring for them. If FDH's mother was dying of cancer I am sure BM would stay arounnd here and use her, but unfortunately she has run out of people to leech off of and so she has to bail.
I'm in a very similar
I'm in a very similar situation to RoadLess, there is a lot to be said for it, 'absent parent's' are awesome!
