Been pretty peaceful since skid24 exclude himself from our lives. There is the odd text to DH. Some stupid things that someone his age should know. Like today he needed to ask DH can my boss make me work 7 days in a row? Or over time rules in our Province, he could google that. But whatever. 

Skid has left about 8 boxes in a storage unit that DH’s work has. He collected all his other stuff when he got possession of his new rental at the end of June. He is not sure if he wants it, it’s mostly kitchen stuff and his GF who he lives with has kitchen stuff. 

Dh offered to bring it to him, but skid said he does not have room for it. DH said then he would store it for a while. I guess DH was annoyed that his kid couldn’t even thank him for either. I find it funny because DH is just now noticing skid never thanks anyone for anything. I felt like saying well that’s how you raised him. 

I cant believe my husband would even offer to do anything for him after the big shit storm in April. DH did say last weekend he is not ready to even try having a relationship with skid. I don’t know if I ever will.
