Ready to throw in the towel

We started counseling a few months ago ,basically about how I can deal with the EX better ,and how HE needs to Handel the EX better?
So far we have accomplished NOTHING,,,he doesn't understand by letter her control him and our lives is killing our marriage and I haven't figured out out to detach myself from the whole mess. Sad thing is I'm detaching from my husband and marriage as well,,
I really don't know if its worth the time And money to keep going or just forget it and live with it...
Any ideas for me?

My SS is moving in with us. Help. Anyone

If my husband signs papers from visitation to joint custody will he still have to pay
Her child support? My SS. Lives out of state. And now is moving back to mn with us,
She told my husband that she want to file joint custody so her family can see him
With out a fight in the summer. My lawyer told me when I got divorced (10) years ago
That if I signed joint custody I could end up paying my EX child support if I made more
Money then him. There's no way she can see him every other weekend when they live

I've been here almost six months ( kinda long)

and never really told my story. I don't want sympathy just want to open up so people can know me better.
I married my high school sweet heart when we were 21 years old. We had our first son when I was 23, and the other son was born 3 years later and our daughter was 5 years after him. We always struggled threw our marriage, I look back now and we were just to young. by the time I was 30, things just wern't the way I thought a marriage should be.
after 14 years of "trying" things went searously wrong.

i'm looking for anyone thats been a step mom for a few years. i'm kinda new to it. about 1 1/2 years. but we only see him in the summer time.
not sure how to handel certian issues that come up. any advice would be great.
also i dont understand all the SD& abbrevations used in this sight. HELP..
