Skid month almost over!
Skids will go back to moms on Sunday night. I am so close to surviving I can see a light at the end of tunnel.
I can only hope the "crazo" will not do something to mess it all up.
Why is it I really like them but I don't want them around. It baffles me. Sometime I can't figure out myself.
I have managed to avoid some of the time with them, but I am still ready for them to leave. I even like them, but the whole kid thing is exhausting.
I am so glad my bio daughter is grown and we can do "adult" things together.
Why is it they are so much work?

DF, I am right there with you. Skids leave on Saturday and I am so excited I could pop. I wish I could call BM and offer her $$$$ to take them today! We've had them since the last day of school.....uuugggghhhh!
Most people who take care of kids who don't belong to them get paid to do so. We, steps are pretty much slave labor with none of the perks, appreciation or respect that teachers and babysitters get (not that its much). So, its no wonder that we're all counting down the days until departure. Congratulations on making it through!

Let "crazo" deal with them, she's the one that spoils them to death and makes them take no responsibility for themselves or their possessions.
It takes me a couple of days to get them back to picking up their stuff. I keep reminding them. I am not your maid.
I do not expect you to pick up my stuff, do not expect me to pick up yours. They do it, and without a fuss, but I have to re-train them all the time. Most of the time FDH catches it and is on his A game of keeping up with them, to make sure they pick up, and put away.
Fss14 brags about how if he prolongs doing what his mom ask then he doesn't have to do it, she will. Isn't that sad. Not at my house. Hell will freeze over first.

You should have seen my happy dance when DH took SS to go in military for 6 years. Been a few week and still doing it!!!

I still shutter at the blog you wrote about the ex almost coming into your house.
The thought of crazo even being near my home makes me sick.
