So the judge signed the CO stating that SO gets SD3 every Thrusday, Every other weekend to coinside with his visitation with his other children since it's SD3's only siblings and also that he gets one other over night visit during the week, BM would not say one set date Back in March so they left it open as a floating day, Either Monday, Tuesday or Wed, ever since the hearing back in March BM has made it clear that she would rather have Wed, become the floating day to make it consistet. Also that our states Parenting time Guidlines be in place as well. That covers the holidays, drop off's and phone calls and the nitty gritty of things. This is a temp order until a custody agreement can be made between the two parties.
So when we go back to court for Modification of this hearing ( if he doesn't get the full custody he is asking for) we are going to ask for it to state that Wed be the floating day, (this will prevent BM from calling the cops when she wants and said, it's not his day) Also asking for there to be a reduced amount of time in which the two parties need to come into physical contact to create less stress on the child, and to hopefully prevent BM from continuing to call the cops and tell lies. We are going to ask for Sunday to be an overnight and SO will drop off SD3 at daycare/school by 8 AM on monday and if the School is closed on Monday then he will drop her off on the next day it is open- this covers the Monday Holiday issues. Also we are asking that on Wednesdays that SD3 be dropped of to daycare by 8 AM as well, this will allow SO to pick her up when he gets off work or if he is off he can get her at any time. We are also going to ask that when it's not our weekend that we return the child to daycare by 8 AM on Friday as well. To allow her to take the child when she so wishes. This will iliminate the contact between both parties all together as the child is only 3 and after wards when she is in school, school will be used for the drop off point. I know that when she is older this will not work for Summer's but our guidlines for our state cover Summer vacations as well.
Wondering if people think the judge will go for it since it's not changing the amount of time any parent gets by much its only making Sunday an overnight VS a 6 PM pick up at SO house right now. So far every sunday there has been an issue with BM picking her up. Either she calls the cops or she wants someone else to pick her up or she wants him to drop her off at her work. So we can show that the Sunday pick up time is not working for her and there for needs to be changed. it would be a 2/4/2/2/4 if I have my math right. Monday and Tuesday with BM and Wed, and Thurs with SO then every other weekend. it's 50/50 the whole way.
