I have to say, that I have picked up a few FABULOUS phrases from here on ST and I use them as often as possible....

Yes, it is vulgar and crude at times, and so spot on and funny! For some people, this is the ONLY place that they have to vent their frustrations and yes, sometimes they manifest themselves in profane ways. Blogging about things anonymously has a "safe" feel to it, so people probably feel like they can completely let go and say things that many of us think in the dark corner of our minds, but would NEVER say out loud.

And I took the OP to mean that she was glad that BM couldn't bring anymore kids into the world to screw up, not that she was glad she had to have a hysterectomy, per se.
