A Lesson for all DHs who are too passive

When BM and DH divorced, BM was given physical custody with DH having EOW. He has let BM dictate the schedule and change when convenient. He went along with the ruling at the time because him and BM were getting along and he felt he could trust her.

WRONG! BM's new BF lives out of the country and wants her to move with him, and she said she is going to! And because of my DH's vague court order, according to an attorney he went for a consult for, it will be a bit harder for him to fight her move!

Help Me Get Over This!!!

I'm 30, DH 43. I want to have another child. I have my BS10, who is not my DH's and my DH has his children.

I am bitter about this. I am angry. And I am depressed. I took a week off because BS had no school and I was in my pajamas all day. I don't do my hair and primp the way I usually do. I wear a bun practically everyday. I have been eating ice cream and cake for breakfast. In other words I just don't give a fuck.

Thoughts?

This past weekend was SS21's baby shower. I have not seen his gf since last summer and my DH and I never received an invitation to this baby shower but were just expected to come.

Currently, SS21 lives with us because the gf threw him out last summer but he is planning to move back in with her by the end of this week (yay!).

I have been with his dad for 7 years, married for 2, but I don't consider myself a stepmom to him necessarily because he was older when we met, and I am younger than my husband.

Babysitting

I'm just curious...How many of you, with grown SKs (or not) would babysit their children (step grandkids)?

My SD had a baby and she has asked us more than once to babysit because she goes to school on the weekends. I sometimes don't mind because its so she can go to school, but I would like to have a weekend to ourselves as well. DH says he plans on telling her after the next time that she needs to find a sitter.

So, would you do it?
