I have a 13 yr old step daughter. We have carried her cell phone on our plan since she was 11. We allowed her to take the phone back and forth with her on visits to BM. She recently got grounded from her cell phone for a week. BM did not agree with her being punished so she bought her a new cell phone on her plan.

Needing some advice on the "right thing to do".

If any of you read my blog you know that BM recently took us to court for child support because she had three additional children (5 total) and wanted to be a stay at home mom. We have joint physical custody and the kids reside with us approx. 60% of the time. Child support was never ordered because when BM was working her and DH made the same amount and had close to the same visitation.

BM is taking us back to court to try and get child support from DH...our court date is in just a few weeks. DH has 50/50 custody and child support was never exchanged because he and BM had approximately equal income and visitation. She now remarried a man and had two additional children with him that he wants her to stay home and care for. She quit her job and now wants DH to pay her to be a stay at home mother.

So SD (12) got head lice again. We have treated it three times now and she is still coming home from BM's with it. So we find out this weekend that even though BM knows perfectly well that SD has lice she is still allowing her to spend the night with people/have people spend the night with her.
