I am trying to get some research on family law and child custody. My boyfriend is in a custody battle right now with bm of his 4y/o ds. Originally the agreement stated that bm had sole custody and bf had visitation every fri sat. The last time we saw his ds was on july 4th. We went back to court, filled an emergency modification of custody order and obtained temp custody of ds pending a court date later this month. then bm does the same thing (files for emergency modification of custody order) and the judge granted her temp custody and only allowing my boyfriend to see his son on the 1st, 3rd and 5th weekends of the month but did not give us a reason why custody was being changed. Where do we go from here? What sites can i look at to better inform me on family law and child custody laws?? Please help!!
