I'm so glad that Father's Day is over. I had to spend it watching my husband sleep the day away because he was depressed because none of his children came to see him. His daugher did invite him to her house for a brunch but he told me he did not want to go. I think it is because we had to drive to a party on Saturday which took a full tank of gas and it would have taken another full tank to go see his daughter on Sunday and he didn't want to spend the $$.

I'm so proud of DH!! We invited my SIL and BIL over for Easter. My SIL brought my MIL and then my SIL's son and family showed up too. So we had 4 children and 9 adults in our house all day yesterday and we had tons of fun. It was so, so nice to have family in the house and everyone got along and noone was trying to be the center of attention or talking trash to me or my DH. One of the SD was supposed to come but she wasn't feeling well so they did not come. I asked my DH later in the day what his other skids were doing for Easter and he said he hadn't even asked them what they had planned!
