The End of the Bunny Ta(i)l(e)

CLove's picture

Bad Bunny has been buried.

Yesterday, after DH picked up Sd15 B/M from school, he took her to a local beach down the road, she dug a hole in the sand, and they said a prayer as they piled the sand over BB.

He took photos of SD on a driftwood log, looking very sad. Some photos of the sun setting over the ocean. We all three reviewed them together, so that was very nice

I was not invited for some reason, but Im going to let that one go. Well, not really, but Im letting it go for now.

RIP Bad Bunny.

Oh funny story - DH has been getting texts from Feral Forger, who is now working:

"Can you talk to mom, for me, shes being such a selfish b!tch, and wont let me in the apartment, and Im off work".

We had a chuckle over that. And SD15 mentioned that she got the same text while she was in school, but ignored it. My comment was "well, you get a break from the drama over here..."

I know, I said too much.

Thank god they finally buried the poor creature.

Yes, just let it go - you can still say some kind words to B/M if you choose but otherwise let them bury BB as they see fit without you.

LOL @ FF's texts!

While I am glad Bunny is no longer in the cage at your house, unless DH owns the land where they dug the grave, I doubt what DH did was legal. Hopefully, no kid accidentally digs up Bunny.

Thats more than likely true. But in this area, its kind of relaxed, unless you want a beach fire, that is.

Yes, I hope someone's pooch or kid doesnt just decide to go digging there, they are in for a nasty surprise...

Back in the day, when DS and DD were little, we had a goldfish.  Well, Fishy crossed the rainbow bridge so I thought that would be a good opportunity to teach the kids about death rituals.  So, we took an old jewelry box, lined it with tissue and buried Fishy.  I thought to myself, job well done.  Oops, 2 days later they dug him up and brought him in.  I guess I forgot the part about when we bury them, they stay there.  Lol.

Well I hope they at least put the money in a thick plastic bag. Because otherwise some animal will dig it up. And you really wanted to go to something like that

RIP bad bunny.  I feel so bad he just sat there rotting away while they stayed busy.  Poor undignified treatment for sure.  Not surprising in the least though.
