Well, our plan to see the skids has been put into action. DH spoke to both of them this past weekend when they were with MIL, and told SS about getting them up here. SS response was " OH YEAH, I WANNA COME UP!!!" So we will be saving $$and shopping for tickets soon. Our next step of course is having MIL communicate some w/ BM about this. I know BM will probably call us, she may do that soon as I know SS will tell her, and we plan to handle it in a professional manner, and if an argument/blow out happens, then we will just let it go, and stick with our first plan of going down to FL. to see them at MIL's house.(when ever we can swing that) Some one els had posted to me in my past blog about using tax refund $$ for tickets, and we will only be getting my half of it back this year, but , that's what I will do, if BM gives us any problems and communication breaks down, and we have to go to FL. to see them just to keep the peace. I really hope that they can come here though. Will post more when we get to Step 2...what BM says.

I know that Southwest Airlines (Don't know if you like them or not) was running a special on flights to Florida.

I usually go to florida once a year. It was $49 to Jacksonville and $98 to Miami. They may still have deals to other areas in Florida.

They are about cheapest when it comes to flying to Florida. Although i don't like that you don't have an assigned seat.

That man needs to see his kds especially since he is going to bed crying about them. Hopefully, BM will be in a good mood especially when she realizes that the IRS took most of your tax return and gave it to her. BM needs to work it out or otherwise she will get up one day and they will tell her I am going north on the bus to see my dad and I may or may not be back.

www.sidestep.com is a good place to get cheap tickets.

has been taking all of this with alot of strength. He was telling me the other day that when he went to bed sad, it was just a "down moment" and that he will be o.k.........that made ME cry. None of this is o.k. Thanks for info on tickets, my Ex and I just used SouthW. for tickets when my kids came up last time. I was also looking at Jet Blue, as there is no "minor fee" for the skids, they are old enough. I will check this link you posted sparky, and with SS reaction to coming up here.....BM better not let him down by being crazy.
