Can I do this's Blog
So glad I'm not the one who will be dealing with the mornings!
After dealing with YET AGAIN last minute "planning" thanks to BM waiting until yesterday to ask SO if he wanted to get SDs yesterday or today for his week (school year is usually Mon-Mon and it's tended to be Sun-Sun this summer) ... he informs her if they can wait until today, he'll get them after his doctor appt. Then she proceeds to tell him they have a hair appt at 4:30 today ... so what IF SO had gotten them yesterday? He's supposed to drive an additional half hour to take them to their free hair cut that she scheduled on HIS WEEK!
Should I just shut up and stay out of this?
SDs come back for SO's week Sun or Mon ... SO knows they are going to visit BM's family in another city Saturday so he tried to get in touch with them to see if they were staying the night there and if he could just then ask BM to meet on her way home so he could get them Sunday ... SDs didn't answer their phones or return text. SO finally sent a text to BM to ask her what was going on (even though this goes against my asking him to limit communication via text to ER and everything else to email ... I don't see how this is an ER ...

Just tell me when we're almost out ....
If SD13 isn't going to inform anyone she needs more feminine products, how are we supposed to know? Does she expect us to keep tabs on them? Probably, yes! Since "mama" does EVERYTHING for her and SD12! And when she's out of her "teen" brand, she busts into my stuff and uses them all and doesn't inform me or her father that she needs more or that she's used mine ... and then when I need mine, guess what? Almost none left! I hate that especially since it usually happens after I've already made my weekly run to the store! NO CONSIDERATION drives me batty!!!!!!

Talking ... and whistling ... and noises!
UGH! Sometimes SD12 is just ... weird ... there's no other word to describe it ... she talks NON-STOP about anything that pops into her head! She has to ask questions like she's still a toddler! And if she isn't talking, she's whistling ... it's like she just learned how or something! And when she eats, she does this weird humming thing ... it's just weird!
If you didn't know she was 12 going into 7th grade, you'd think she was in about 3rd grade .... my friends have even questioned my telling them her age/grade ... sigh!

I don't know how to not sound like a big "B" about this to SO......
If you've read one of my previous blogs, BM signed both SDs up for dance w/o consulting SO (they have 50/50 custody). He just found out all the logistics and basically she said, "Anything you can do to help pay or purchase would be appreciated. Maybe you can check Ebay or resale shops for leotards, shoes, etc. Or maybe "CanI" has a student or former student that was in dance and would be willing to part with some things for SDs." (HA! Like I'm going to help find that stuff! If you didn't want to discuss with SO ahead of time, this should ALL fall on your shoulders, lady!)
Several reasons I stopped buying ANY clothes for them!
Even though I LOVE LOVE LOVE to buy girl clothes and I LOVE LOVE LOVE bargains, I stopped buying ANYTHING for SD12 & SD13. First, because NOTHING was coming back from BM's after I would make sure everything they wore from her house went back (I stopped doing that!) and I saw BM's bf's daughter wearing things I bought! OH NO!!!!!!!
BM better not ask for money for something she decided to do!!!!
We just saw on SD12's facebook that she was signed up for dance yesterday. SO is pretty ticked off because he was not consulted in this. First off, he will be in his last semester of classes this fall and BM didn't even ask what his schedule was like to see if he can take SD to classes on his week! Second, she didn't even mention it to him and if she asks for money to help pay for something she decided to do, well, she can forget it! I just hope SO will stand up to her on that and emphasize she didn't even discuss it with him. SO has NO MONEY to help ...
So manipulative ... and a proud moment
I just have to say I don't understand how one person can be so manipulative (and the other person just ALWAYS sits back and allows it to happen). SDs are in a play this weekend. Initially we planned on going opening night (last night) with SO's mom (which of course pisses BM off b/c she thinks we should be going to all three performances at $8 per person per show...ha!). BM sent a text earlier in the week asking when we were thinking about going because she was selling some of the tickets and would put some aside for us (according to her the show was almost sold out).

YOUR dog is NOT our responsibility....
BM asked SO's mom if SO and SDs would go let her dog out because she and her bf are going to be getting home late one evening this week ... she asked his MOM!! Not him! UGH! If SO didn't have to drive the 1/2 hour to her general area to take SDs to play practice, we wouldn't even be in that neck of the woods ... and what if there was no play practice this week, then what would she do?!

Always last minute finding things out ...
SDs are both in a play in the town where they attend school (1/2 hour away from us). It hasn't been too bad dealing with their practices when we have them since it's only been a few nights a week. SO went to find out yesterday whether he'd be getting them today or tomorrow (I don't understand why it's a constant back and forth changing from Sun-Sun and Mon-Mon except during the school year when Mon-Mon makes more sense on the gas budget!). He was informed they are performing a few songs today as a food drive for the play.
