I have a date with myself and BOB. Taking us out to a movie then back home for drinks and some ME time. Lord knows my DH is too stressed and just way too busy to remember it's V-Day.
On my birthday this year he didn't even get a card or so I thought. His family had a part for me and his brother. DH whispered to me don't worry I didn't forget about you your present is still in the mail........ do you think anything ever came? NOPE! Then about two weeks later he showed up at my work. He had indeed got me a card but had left it in his glovebox in his car and just realized it was still there. Yeah well that doesn't make up for the lie... of hey I didn't forget you.
Or how about last V-Day. Hell he didn't even get a card. Simply just didn't do anything. I set my alarm for an hour before he was to get up in the morning. Decorated his car put the handmade card I made for him in it and his favorite snacks. Do you think that at all during that day he had time to grab me a 99cent card? NOPE! And he is a salesman. Goes from one convienence store to another all day long. But just didn't have the time..............

Well this year I am taking the day back. I am treating myself to a good movie and my very own BOB. I will light myself some candles and enjoy my evening. The evening that he has already made plans for because he is helping some friends out every night this week.

I however will not put the BOB away this time. I am leaving him on my nightstand. IF you aren't going to take care of my needs anymore then well I'm not hiding how I take care of myself
