This is only my second blog on here. So DH and I are trying to get custody of are nephew who has been un foster care for a year and a half so last week dcf came out and did the home study and fingerprints and everything was great til today. On sat my sd15 spent the night with a friend who's mother allowed them to stay with guys for the night sd15 told DH on sun they had been camping with guys sat night DH flipped his lid I went to sd15's friends house and informed the mother we do not approve of her spending the night with guys and that she should not have believed the kids when they told her it was ok. On top of all that the kids where drinking and smoking pot!!! The mother understands I suppose but I doubt it cuz obviously she allowes her daughter 14 to stay with guys and they stay there. Anyway sd15 is highly pissed that she will not be going to spend the night anywhere or doing anything for the remainder of her life then we skip to today I had a outpatient surgery today on my eye and as I am leaving the office my bd11 calls me crying from school telling me the some women pulled her out of class and questioned her about life at home her bio dad and asking about sd15 and the friend she was with when she got drunk and high sat night. So I get home call the dcf worker I'm dealing with for the custody battle so this way she isnt in the dark and I don't want any problems getting nephew moved down here. She says she will see what she can find out. I'm so worried that now we won't be able to get are nephew now that there is a open case investigating us for the things sd15 did over the weekend I have never had a dcf investigation before i work in law enforcement and I'm lost so scared and in pain any ideas
