Post Labor Day BM Labors
SS16 came back from his BM's house Labor Day weekend on Sunday. BM said she had plans on Monday with the other 2 kids, so she could not keep him the extra day. SS12 and SD10 come over to our house this weekend, and they let it slip that they went to iHop on Labor Day and then to see Despicable Me2 at the movies.
Really?? That is why BM wanted to bring SS16 to our house early.
It took all I had at the dinner table not to comment on this. Especially after the last two months of BM crying and ranting and texting DH that she doesnt have enough money to take care of the 2 kids that live with her bc DH has asked the court if he can stop paying CS on SS16 that lives with us now. Apparently she thinks she should still get SS16's CS.
I also had to listen to SD10 tell me about her dream that involved BM, SS12 and SD10 having to bowl for money. They didnt make enough, so they had to live in a cardboard castle on the street. I'm no child psychologist, but this has to be stemming from BM has been saying to them. The skids have even told us that when BM is crying, she says it is bc of us being mean to her and making them poor.

Oh she has a good job and gets good CS. We still do not understand why she tells the kids they are poor.
When SS16 asked to live with
When SS16 asked to live with us, We had a preemptive family discussion on our finances with all three of them and explained what CS was, how the courts calculate it, and what it is meant to go towards. They all seemed to understand. But the 2 younger skids have been pulled into BM's "woe is me" spiral. SS16 sees through the drama, but the younger two are still in the thick of it. They love their BM and cant stand to see her so upset over this.
I just get so mad that BM poisons them against us and uses the skids to get back at DH. She's constantly calling him a horrible father who was never there and age us the good mothwr that gets no reapect. Blah blah blah
She should have just stayed married to him instead of whoring around which would have saved us all alot of grief.
