What is an appropriate term for offspring once they reach adulthood ? The only term I hear is "Adult children". This seems a contraction in terms. It almost justifies enabling parenting behaviour patterns to continue through to the adult years and beyond.... It also keeps the offspring forever "childlike" and dependent and in some cases, feeling forever entitled to their parents full and undivided attention. Anyone got thoughts on this ?
