The SD's came over this last weekend. SD16 was distracted from her usual critique of our house and pets by a trip to the Dollar Store. She is always broke but loves to decorate for the holidays, so DH took them to get stuff to decorate our house for Halloween. SD18 actually came out of her silent angry funk for a hot minute! She actually SPOKE. She had a conversation at dinner with minimal accusatory BS. It was kind of nice, except that DH had taken SD18 to the store to get stuff to make dinner.
