sd never post pictures with us

Looking at my sd's (14) instagram account (lives with us), I saw she posted a picture of herself with her biomom. My husband drove her to see her mom and took the picture. She also took picture with her dad but never posted it. We have agreat relationship, we talk alot and laugh alot. Her biomom has always neglected her, lied to her etc. So it stung a bit when I saw that she posted a picture of her and her biomom together. Is she just pretending to like me?

Thank you for your advice Cheri. But guarding my heart is difficult. I feel sorry for her and the things that she had to go through with her mom. After they visited she complained about her mother lying about even the smallest thing. I am not asking her to choose between us but I would love to see some kind of acknowledgement. I guess I shouldn't expect anything. God it's sucks if you care.

I wouldnt stress about it. I raised my bs18.5, his bio dad hasnt had anything to do with him in over 13yrs.... My bs18.5 just graduated from US Army BCT, dont ya know the sperm donor had to be there. He had to be the proud peacock Father of the year!!
My son ate it up, that his Dad was there! I did the hard work, the blood sweat and tears to get him to this point in his life, yet Proud Papa shows his face for the first time in 13 years...... Its a hard pill to swallow.
just remember, she knows who is there for her, who has been there for her, and who will continue to be there for her.
My son's father will go crawl back under his rock, and go back to being a non-existant figure in my child's life... however, the Magic DNA makes our kids temporarily float on a cloud, that is bound to burst.
All we can do is catch the fall. She loves you, she knows, she is just trapped in a moment of time.
