Dear Valued Users,
It's with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of StepTalk.org on August 31st, 2025.
This decision wasn't an easy one. For over twenty years, StepTalk has been a source of support for stepparents around the world! However, over the years, the costs associated with maintaining and upgrading the site to remain secure, meet current standards and maintain availability have become unsustainable.
We are incredibly grateful for your support, contributions and the community you've helped us build. Your engagement has made StepTalk.org a special place and we cherish the memories and connections made here.
We would especially like to thank Aniki for volunteering to be a moderator and for caring so much.
Thank you for being a part of our journey and we wish you all the best.
Sincerely,
Dawn and The StepTalk Team
That is horrible! Doesn't
That is horrible! Doesn't say anything about the BM other then when they divorced...wonder where she was when all this was taking place?
I know
I used to work with a guy that had 4 sons with an exwife. She was given sole custody, than 3 months later she was proven unfit by CPS. CPS took the kids and put them in foster care! Their Dad had to fight CPS to get custody of his own children!! He was a fit father, the BM had lied about him in court in order to get sole custody and more CS. Thank god, that judge is no longer in the family court division.
This is the same judge that had given sole custody to my SD BM 6 years ago becuz she lied. My H was not even given any visitation--even though he was not unfit. As soon as the first CS check came in BM offered my H EOW and Wed nights......thought she said he was unfit!! I don't know whose more stupid--judges or CPS.
You would think courts would want fathers to be involved with their children but they don't.
This article was a rare one. Not many DH let the SM do all the discipline, this time the man should not have.
terrifying
That poor girl - what kind of sick mind thinks of a punishment like that, they are lucky she didn't die! what was the dad thinking?!
