My 20 year old step daughter calls my husband cute.

I think it is creepy that when my husband talks my 20 year old step daughter says-"Dad your so cute."
for some reason a alarm goes off in my head every time.
Am I wrong about this?

I think it depends on the context.

I've said it to my dad once when his old-school self tried to understand computers.

Dad: What's the button-thingy? How do I turn it off? Does it talk?
Me: Dad, you're cute.

OR, is she saying it in a flirty kind of way, like you'd do with a boyfriend? If so, that's definitely weird and gross.

Agree. I think my grandpa is the cutest man in the world- like literally, short Italian man who wears black socks with shorts type cute! The situation here though, it sounds almost condescending like "can you clean your room?" "oh dad, you're so cute" which is completely different.

I don't think this is a crew. I think the OP was unsure where to post her questions. So sprinkled a little here and a little there.

LOL!

Honestly, I don't think there's anything wrong with a loving daughter calling her father "cute". I think it's a form of endearment more than anything else. Unless, there is some other context I am not aware of in this particular post.

Also, what is a "crew"? Is that another word for "troll"?

Honestly, I think you're probably wrong just 'cause that's all you got. I mean, if you'd written (and, seriously, some people have!) "She sits on his lap and they disappear into her bedroom and have tickle fights and she tells him how he's cuter than any of the boys her age" then I'd say hell yeah, there's a problem. (Duh. Also, call CPS.) But one comment? With no context? I'm thinking it's nothing.
