Should adult SD's invite teen BS to Father's day dinner?

My SD;s will probably want to have daddeee all to themselves for a father's day dinner but I think our BS should be invited as DH is his father too!

Why would it be OK for them to have an exclusive Father's Day dinner without one of his children?

Thoughts?

it would be at a family restaurant for sure, so really no valid reason to exclude bio son ( their half sibling).

We usually do a brunch for him so the dinner wouldn't be a problem for me. I especially didn't want to be present at dhs family gatherings, so fine. Still they're calling for a separate event on the day itself so I agree that they should pick a different day.
