I knew it would happen. She is saying it's bc her register is short but I also know she got in trouble the same day for her attitude/behavior and she often gets customer complaints about her attitude. I think that is why she is fired and she's lying to her dad about it because he's positive she won't steal and other people run her register too(she was always getting in trouble for not staying at the register and when customers came somebody had to ring them up) SO was pushing her to call HR today and have them look into who else was using her register but she went outside then came in and said the person to talk to is on vacation. Then instead of staying here and job hunting like we said she'd be doing she had her grandmother come pick her up for a few days. She arranged this while her dad was fighting off a seizure and couldn't really argue. Last night when he mentioned calling HR the next day, she complained about how when she gets a new job she won't be able to take the week off that she wanted to and buried her face in her hands(the week we are going on vacation but she does not want to go with us, she just wanted to stay home during). Now I'm stuck with her staring at the tv all damn day unless she's at her grandmother's until she gets a job. I told SO when she does get another job I'm not taking her bc of how she does. I've posted about her before, the "entitled and dishonest 22 year old" post. I'm sticking with this too And SO knows it.
