Something occurred to me this weekend; asked DH if he ever noticed that we are the only 'grandparents'/family, that attend all of SGS's events. SSIL's parents don't go, BM and her SO don't go either. Sometimes FIL and/or DH's sister will go but generally it is just DH & I that go, every single week

Even stranger that despite the fact we are the ones who consistently attend these events, make a big deal about SGS, show our total support, we get treated like garbage!

This weekend was better (maybe because DH's sister wasn't there to keep stirring the pot) but still the attitude and crap we put up with on a regular basis is amazing

Good thing the only reason I go is to support DH, and DH to support SGS
