Rights to live
Forums:
My fiance's oldest daughter has been living with her grandma for about 6 months now. Her father was in the military and so they moved alot. Since her mom filed for divorce and moved out, her daughter has been living with her gmom, now my fiance's ex is saying he wants custody of the oldest daughter and that she should not be permitted to live with her gmom. His daughter has not spoken with him in over a year and refuses to speak or meet with him. she is 14 years old now and soon will be 15. At what age must a child be in the state of South Carolina before she/he can choose where she lives as long as 1 adult consents to it?
I think
in most states not saying yours for sure that she is old enough to pick her own place to live.
Get on the web and look that up by state.
Is the 14 year old doing good with gmom?
