Oh wow I need this so bad!

I just stumbled across this website and it is a Godsend. My poor friends and family cannot handle my venting anymore. Monday mornings I feel like I can breath again but Summer is still approaching. I am so happy that I don't have to feel like a horrible person anymore because from what I see, I am so not alone.

Welcome to the site!

I lurked on here for a long time before joining, and quickly realized thanks to everyones stories here that what I felt in regards to my step situation was normal, that I'm not a horrible person, and that I wasn't alone. I've learned a lot during my time here.

I agree this has been a wonderful site, even if you don't respond, just reading the comments gets me thru some situations. And I know I'm not a horrible person!!

This site has made me feel that I am not a monster created to ruin my stepfamily. Although I have had to move out of my home because stepfamily situation became unbearable and boyfriend sees me as a problem between him and his kids, i have learned so much from reading other peoples step situations. My boyfriend will not get educated in step family life so he still believes he and I are not meant to be together....he doesn't know all the similar stories and it makes me sad that he doesn't see it. Try to get your other half to read or get step family counseling...........try to save your relationship if you can...........
