Yes, both myself and SD's mom are pregnant. And SD is a teen. How much angst and backlash do you think is normal in the situation. I don't want to overreact to her meanness, but what if it's normal?

I agree! Some of my friends are saying that her reaction is totally normal because of all the changes going on in both homes. My initial reaction is "stop being so dang selfish."

I'm sure some reaction is normal .. but choices other people are making in their lives does not give her a free pass to behave like a brat. If she has issues or concerns about new babies, she needs to talk about those .. not blame it on her "situation".

Can't stand that those types of excuses!

I-m so happy Totally agree with this. She does NOT get to act like a brat just because you and her BM chose to have more children. That is ridiculous.

Try not to let her attitude ruin this for you- this should be a happy, exciting time! Congrats on your pregnancy Smile

I was pregnant with my BS and SS being teens. Honestly, I don't care how 'poor' teens felt about it. I was the one who was sick vomited for six months straight, carried that baby until I barely could walk, got all the varicose veins, strech marks, and also cook for them, worked and took care of them too. Come on! I don't feel sorry for them. They get to play games in their room the whole day. What is so difficult about that?
