I get so annoyed! My DH has a BD17. He texts her the most ridiculous things like:

Daddy loves ____. (her nick name from daddy.)

He talks to her like a baby. It is so annoying. She has told me herself that she wishes he would stop talking to her like she is a baby.

I have asked him to stop, that she is a grown girl almost a woman now. He gets upset. Like I am asking him to stop loving her. I'm not... just don't treat her like she is 3 yrs old. She is 17!

Just the other day, he did it again.

Makes me wonder if he is living in lala land so he doesn't have to face her growing up?
