Her head didn't explode after all.........:(

I've had no time...and even this will be brief.

The rehearsal dinner went great! SD's wedding went great!

Apparently nut-job was veeerrry nervous about the dinner...so said the groom to be. I was fine.

Oh and at the rehersal dinner..SD handed the grooms mom, her mom and me a gift.. Very nice.

Nut job didn't look very comfortable at the wedding. We were assinged seating in the row just behind her... my daughter overheard her bitching and complaining about me sittng right behind her. And she and her BF would not turn around and shake our hands during the ceremony.
It just made them look like assholes.

My SD thanked me, as well as her Dad, in her speech during the supper for everything we have done for her...dispite her knowing her mothers head would explode.

Way to go!! goes out to her!!

The nut job left the reception early... we stayed and had a ball!!!

I was a little disappointed that I didn't get to see any head explosions... but everything went well

I have to get going......

You'd think she could put aside her own issues for her daughter's wedding. I'm glad to hear how you handled it! Reminds me of how I handle situations.... be happy, have a good time, don't pay attention to 'her' and it drives 'her' even crazier than if you paid her any mind!

I am glad you had such a great time. SD was sure to notice her mom leaving early. I wonder what she thought of that.

I'm so glad that SD stood up and recognized you even though she knew that it would make her mom's head explode. BM's rude and immature behavior only makes her look worse, and you look better. I'm so glad that she recognized you - that really means a lot.
