Week on - Week off

A quick question regarding visitation...
My SO and I have been together for nearly 10 years. In that time I can say that it hasn't gotten much easier with my SS18 and SS12. The 18yo is pissy all the time and 12yo lies constantly and is lazy. This entire time the kids have been on a 2-2-3 schedule which my SO just changed (on his own) to every other week. Tonight starts my 6 nights of hell. Maybe it will be better than all the shuffling every 2 days but I don't know!! Any thoughts out there?

I couldn't agree more with
I couldn't agree more with Echo. I had EOWE for a long time and then we switched to week on/week off. Alternating the weeks was great! Much less chaotic for the kids. And the parents, too, actually.
We were on a court-ordered
We were on a court-ordered 2-2-3 schedule for 4 years because BM was insecure and the judge pandered do her because she was the "single mom". It really was NOT in the best interest of the children.
We are on a 5-2-5 now, which, although not perfect, is a lot better.
