Sick skid

Summer Break is here, so DH is alternating weeks with BM instead of weekends, per their custody agreement. Oh, summer fun :sick: DH just walks in the door with SD5 and tells me that he was late getting back because he had to wait for BM to return to their meet-up point with skid's meds. Get this: SD has strep throat. Now, I wouldn't normally be excited about the prospect of picking up what I know from experience to be a truly shitty bacterial infection, but I am doubly pissed as I am 7 months pregnant. WHO THE HELL SENDS THEIR KID OUT WITH A HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS INFECTION?! And yes, BM knows that I am pregnant. I swear this shit was by design.

I'm not NOT pissed at DH - though he wasn't aware that skid had strep until he picked her up at their meeting point which is out of town. Seriously BM, if you have to pack antibiotics along with your spawn, it's intuitive for most people that said spawn should BE HOME IN BED.

I don't mind the alternating
I don't mind the alternating weeks, I can put up with a little sick. But this isn't just ANY sick - strep throat is highly contagious and as shitty as it is contagious. Also, the part about being very, very pregnant. Yeah, studies haven't shown that antibiotics probably aren't going to make your fetus grow two heads, but I really don't want to take meds just because BM couldn't keep hellspawn at home for a few more days.
Sick kids is one thing
Sick kids is one thing (common cold, etc) but something as contagious as strep is another. The fact that your pregnant just makes it worse. Out of town or not DH should have said, "I am sorry but my wife can't be around anything that's infectious while she's pregnant. We will have to trade weeks or something." Now I would prob pack my bags and head to a relatives, friends, or even a hotel for a few days so you are less likely to catch it. Let dad handle all the sick crap.

I'm not understanding this. Strep throat is not a big deal. As a matter of fact, I'd rather a kid have strep that is no longer contagious after 24 hours on antibiotics rather than a kid with a virus that you can't do anything about. Don't take care of her or let her go anywhere except her room and the bathroom until she's been on meds for 24 hours.
BM dropped SD off obviously
BM dropped SD off obviously sick before. I mean, she dropped the kid off with a respirator for breathing treatments she was so sick. An hour after she was dropped off she started complaining that her ear hurt. I look at it and its all red looking. I take her temp...101.5. I was so pissed that she dropped her off to infect the whole household. I made FDH call BM and tell her to come get her kid ASAP. I know FDH is her dad but when SD is with BM its just the two of them...keep your shit quarantined. Sry BM, you're going to have to stay home from the bar;I have 3 bio's and that's the last thing I need.
