So I was driving down the road today after a lot of frustration with my situation. I resent the title "step" mother. I mean what is a step? Something you trod on. It can be a step up or a step down, but either way someone else gets decide which. I am going to fill out all future paperwork that asks for a relationship indicating that I am the "other" parent. I am through with being a step.
