I hate the different times we all are on!!

Ss13 waking up in the afternoon. My kids and i going to bed at 9pm. Dh falls asleep at 930, but wakes up at 1am, then he goes downstairs. I cant sleep with the tv on, so he goes downstairs...which sometimes he still wakes me up, but he tries not to.

I need like a,full on SILENCING MASK. Block out everything, every noise- everything!!

Because of packing we have been up rather late, but ss is taking advantage and eating a second dinner after 10pm.

Then skates in his room avoiding brushing his teeth. I would not care, but he is so close to getting his braces off!!! He just has to wear his rubber bands a few more weeks!!

Anyway i got on him tonight, im so over listening to him slamming the fridge open and shut, banging around plates, opening and closing the microwave, then after all that, dump his dishes in the sink, stomp up stairs- slam the bathroom door shut- bang the cabinet with his leg while brushing his teeth- if he does brush- then turn out the light run down the hall a slam his door closed. At this point its all after 11pm.

I had a talk with him a few days ago about him getting ready for bed and being settled by 1030pm..you know a snack then get ready for bed. Well last night he whispered to dh at 9 about eating left over pizza, well after that ss went back up to his room, i guess "forgot", comes back out around 1020pm...gets pizza...is dowstairs till 11! Cause he is watching netflix, taking his sweet time.

We had chinese food tonight(we normally do not eat out this much but we are almost moved to new house)

Alot of food left over, ss13 at dinner only ate an eggroll.

We were down in the kitchen till 930 packing!!

Everyone is settled...

Im in my bathroom and hear muffled talking.

I come out- dh says ss is getting a snack, uh ok at 1030pm...so i wait, then I hear microwave going dishes, fridge...ughhh... dh passed out snoring..i go check...

This teen goes full on dinner!!!

He heated up a big bowl of shrimp lomain, and an egg roll!

Dh is asleep but I CANNOT FALL ASLEEP LISTENING TO HIM.

So i go park myself on the top step and just stare at ss.

Ss finally is like what?

I go-you know i talked to you about getting ready for bed at 1030, not eating a full on meal. We were down her packing till 930, why did you not come down then?

He just stares at me like uhhhhh..

I mean you waited till 1030,but what are you supposed to be doing at this time?

He is all opps.

Opps?!

So i told him this is the last dinner after 9pm, if he "cant remember" his phone will be gone(the horror) till after we are moved into new home. Then i sat there till he was done and told him he will be getting up before noon and washing his dishes.

I hope this sinks in, im over the "polite talks" and "warnings"... god, if this was my kid his phone would be gone...and he would be hating life the next day because id decide to VACUUM his room at 6am, oh opps are you sleeping??? I mean the rest of the house hold does not matter to you after 11pm at night, so why should i care that your sleeping at 6am??

School is coming up, and this year he has to catch a bus!! At this house he walked to school so not a huge rush in am. New house he has a bus stop...and he sleeps through his alarm...after we move he has a week, the he has to get up at 930, to get him back on track!!

God i hate adulting!! After we move this weekend im having margaritas EVERYNIGHT, AND SMOOTHIES AT 7AM GOOODDDMMORNING!!! HAHA
