So IMHO…DH just let everyone know that he sees SF as Chuckys dad and not himself. Weird. Why on earth would he do that? Because he does not want to be the bad guy…?
I have absolutely no idea Willow. It is not how I would deal with it and if that child ever steals from me or my home again he will be taking a trip to the police station, whether it is home time or not.
Did DH even talk to SS about it or did he ignore it and just expect SF to take care of it?
Oh and it will absolutely happen again since DH did nothing in the form of a punishment. Wow. Does DH realize that he just let Chucky know that DH sees SF as his real father? Wow. I just could not imagine calling my kids SM and telling her that the kids did something bad at my house and I want HER to punish MY kids. Weird.
He is conflict averse and has no follow through with his son. It is a point of contention between us to put it mildly. I have massive issues with him disciplining the girls when he can't even manage the basics with his own son. If I would accept it, he'd let the child rule our house ad eat candy floss 24/7 just so he doesn't have to deal with how difficult his kid is.
Edited to add: He is an idiot, he is harming his own child by not teaching him life lessons.
