Nervous about a doctors appointment
For about 2 years before I got pregnant with BS I had to switch birth control multiple times due to issues I was having. Well I got pregnant on birth control so after BS was born I got that thing in my arm because I don't really trust the pill anymore. Well since then nothing has been normal I understand having a baby and breastfeeding can throw everything out of wack but I just feel something is off. I am broken out and I have never been broken out. I have got facials and at first they lady told me that where I am broken out is all hormonal (great right) but now she is like this has been going on a little to long for the issue being hormones after having a baby. So today I will being going to the doctor to talk about what is going on and how to make things better.
I have a feeling the answer will be no birth control boo DH want to wait at until the beginning of next summer to start not not trying. I just need good vibes that it is an easy fix and has nothing to do with other medical issues I have. I just hate the doctor as is let alone when it is something you can't openly talk about. When you break your leg no one wonders why you are at the doctor but when it is personal I just feel odd. Also, my person that I discuss all this with has way to much on her plate so no way would I add this to it.

Have you thought about trying
Have you thought about trying an IUD?
Honestly they way they work
Honestly they way they work bothers me. Plus I know someone that had serious complications from one so it scares me.
Me too - love it! I've had

I've had zero issues.
Are you DONE having children?
Are you DONE having children? If so, check in to Essure. It has been awesome for me. No hormones, Cycles have become more regular and much shorter.
Did you have the 3 monthly
Did you have the 3 monthly depo injection before having the 3 year implant or did you go straight to the implant?
The reason for me asking is because it may just be a simple hormone reaction to the implant, the amount of hormone in it and how it is released into the body.
Different women have totally different reactions to it, in terms of side affects. The only side affect I had was it completely stopped my periods (saved a fortune on sanitary towels) but a friend of mine to this day swears that the implant affected her depression (which seemingly improved after having it removed) and another started seeing weight gain/loss issues.
It might be that the 3 monthly depo injection is more suitable for you. I would doubt the dr would recommend no contraceptive if you are actively trying to avoid having another baby right now.
Or you might find that your skin is simply more sensitive now, my step sister had always had sensitive skin (she had to be careful with perfumed soaps) but after having her baby her skin has become stupidly sensitive. She now can no longer have any products with perabens in and comes out in a nasty rash if something remotely un-natural touches her face. Plus she has occassions now of being really spotty, something she'd never had in her teens. The drs arent really sure why it all came about after having her baby other than to say "things change after childbirth" lol understatement of the year
I am not done having kids
I am not done having kids just want to wait a little while like 9ish months. I have had the injections before it was horrible. I was on my period for 2 months straight. Kind what is going on with the arm thing things have flipped I am on my period for 3ish weeks then off for 1 week or less. I am spending so freaking much on girl products like a ton.
Ah ok then it sounds like the
Ah ok then it sounds like the hormonal injection or implant are not really suitable for you because, yeah thats not meant to happen!
But the pill doesn't work
But the pill doesn't work either that is why BS came about
No a different doctor (that I
No a different doctor (that I no longer see) said I would be fine because i switched from the name brand to the off brand version. Basically I am the .01% it doesn't work for.
Was it the combined pill or
Was it the combined pill or the progesterone only? I would assume the progesterone only wouldnt work for you either as the implant and injection are progesterone based.
Honestly I have no idea. I
Honestly I have no idea. I should have paid more attention but I had a lot going on. The only one that worked great was the ring but then I started having issues with it. Later I read something about a lawsuit and changing what was in it.
Good luck!

Well ultimately I hope the Dr
Well ultimately I hope the Dr can answer your questions and come up with a suitable answer.
I hate it when they turn around and say "theres always condoms" like yeah, theres a reason most people dont like them, they dont feel very nice, it does take some of the romance/spontaneity out of it when youve got to stop and wrap, plus they are awkward to get hold of, either in terms of cost of going and getting them free.
Thanks I will look into that
