Hex proposes schedule change
Since SD will be entering 4th grade in the fall, she is now eligible to try out for an independent group choir consisting of boys and girls 4th-7th grade. Hex told DH tonight on his nightly call to SD she wants SD to audition, and if she gets it she will be apart of the group. She told DH it will be good for her to be in a group, sing with others and gain discipline. Her voice raised up an octave on the "gain discipline" part so I had to bite my lip from cracking up. Glad it took her this many years to figure it out.
It is 500$ and practice is every Monday night. Hex said she would pay the 500$ herself, and the practices are from 4:30pm-6:00pm every Monday. I looked up on the computer and there is a concert one weekend a month and a major fall and major spring recital. So this is a time consuming thing.
Hex (in a weird, non b**** move) offered to move DHs weeknight to Wednesday nights because of this hour and a half practice on Monday nights. DH is scheduled by the JCp to have Monday nights after the weekend he doesn't have SD.
Sooooo DH told her he would think about it and get back to her. We are both surprised she was even being this nice, bc usually niceties are reserved for a once a century occasion. Just like Haleys comet, once every 80yrs or whatever.
The only downside I see to this is that it would be hard on SD to be here Wednesday night, turn around and go back to her moms Thursday night, then come back here Friday for her weekend with us. I think DH should propose Tuesday night instead.
Any thoughts?

There's some reason she wants
There's some reason she wants SD in that choir. And she wants it BAD if she's being nice and reasonable and offering to pay for all of it.
I agree, get everything in writing. Not only written but signed, notarized, on file with your attorney.
Back when she had a
Back when she had a life/hobbies she apparently loved music and singing.
SD is a mini hex. That is Hexs goal in life. Apple not falling far from the tree.
