Manipulative Little Suckers
These kids!!! Ughhhh!
SK13 asked for money to go to the amusement park with her class Friday. Dad took it to her Tuesday with the agreement she was to come do chores for the money Saturday. Thursday she messaged Dad and said she had step throat. He said then she can't go with her class and he would come pick up the money. Then she said she didn't want to expose my mom to strep if she was still contagious...how thoughtful. This morning I read on Facebook that she had a great time at the big birthday party yesterday!
FUUUCK THAT! She's gonna work like she's never worked before in the flower beds next weekend. I don't like lies, I particularly don't care to be manipulated and led to by a child.

What a sneaky brat!

Oh hell no. I don't envy
Oh hell no.
I don't envy you having to deal with that.
Lol, let her work that
Lol, let her work that garden!
She will be working outside,
She will be working outside, in the heat, ALL. DAY. LONG. I am thrilled to see all the honeysuckle overgrowth along the fence out back, tons of weeds (big dandelions with deep roots) that need hand pulled with a little spade, dead growth from last year that has yet to be thinned out by hand. She's gonna LOVE it! I'm going to do the fun jobs, like use the powered hedge trimmer, leaving clippings for her to pick up and plant any new flowers I have planned for the one tree out front. I am a firm believer in quality garden gloves, so she gets to go with me to the garden center to get a pair and help me grab the hostas.
Trouble is, I live in and upscale neighborhood, only because my granddad built this house in the 50's here. I don't actually have any money...shit, I don't even have a job. I take care of my mom full time and live off her income. They think because of the neighborhood, I have money to pass out all day long. They are entitled little effers.
s..i..g..h
I'm glad this place exists. No one else accepts my intolerance, and jadedness. I hear "at least you got some kids you always wanted" (struggled with infertility with late husband, he passed 2 1/2 years ago) or "they are kids, it comes with that age 13yo twins SD and SS (one of each yay!) and 16yo SD". These go on the list of things not to say to folks with infertility issues. I don't get to have kids of my own, I missed out on all the warm, smelly good, baby snuggles..I am not super jazzed about all the teen angst, manipulation, lies and drama. But, I love their dad. It's kind of a struggle.
Thanks for listening and being supportive
