I helped a friend of mine set up a birthday party for her son yesterday. We were sitting on her porch talking and she was asking me how things were going. She said, "So how do you and Thunderfoot get along?" I told her that we don't at all. That I just couldn't even make myself like her because she's lazy and disrespectful and treats DH like shit. She said, "I saw that coming. At your wedding I noticed something was off about her and figured you 2 were going to butt heads. You have a strong personality and she just seems...weird." I said, "You noticed that by meeting her once?" And proceeded to tell her some of the things that have been going on at the house lately. My friend told me that Thunderfoot sounds EXACTLY like her SD23. She also told me that she and her DH actually split up for a while over her SD23. (The kid was 8 or so when they started dating.) That was rather depressing. I don't want DH and I to split up over Thunderfoot although it could very likely happen. I am relieved that someone else noticed this brat's attitude and it's not just me though.
