It's the Little Things that make me Smile
DH got his court papers for his upcoming hearing that the Department of Child Support Services has set up for him to obtain support from BM.
It is asking that she pay support based on standard calculations, that she provide medical and that she pay half of all medical bills - pretty standard stuff, but the woman has paid nothing. Ever. So it's nice to see this in writing.
I'm sure she crapped her pants when she received the papers
I'm sure she wonders why they are asking her to provide all of this support for her child as I'm sure she tried to submit false information regarding her income just like she did in court. However, DCSS can access records, so even if she lied, they pulled up the facts. (We just happened to let them know that she falsified documents in the past for court and that she has two new cars...).
Even though I have SS on my medical, it will be nice for her to also cover him and for her to be ordered to pay for his non-covered medical bills. What a nice coincidence that we want to put SS into counseling with a private counselor who charges $150 per visit.
Oh, i just can't wait 'til court.

I know that getting her to
I know that getting her to pay will be a chore and involve several trips to court, which is fine.
It'll just be nice to have an order.
Then we can file for contempt - both for her breaking the restraining order and for not paying.
I also would've liked to see the look on her face when she opened that document up and read that she was no longer getting off scott free.
In certain states, they will
In certain states, they will add any nonpaid medical bills that the NCP is responsible for to the CS as arrears. You might want to check into that with your state. It could be an option.
