BM got me a goody basket?

BM stopped by and handed me a basket with some cookies and brownies and treats as well as her niece's old baby blankets. She said it was a peace offering and that she has been going to church and is sorry for how she has treated me in the past.

I don't know rather to believe her or what. That was very strange very strange.

Haha! Exlax & The Help Sh#t. They could be funny brownies to make you go lalala over a cliff.

Wait, now I wonder if perhaps the cupcakes I made for my exH & SM. They love the Cupcake vineyards so gave them their wine & spent forever decorating the cupcakes. Did my SM eat them? This room makes me so paranoid.

Holy! Really? Wow ok.
There are back psycho's too. But they don't send blankets & brownies. They just text during intermission.

Yeah.....I'd toss it or leave them on a plate for your SD. Warn your DH that BM brought them over.

If the blankets are in good shape, wash them a few times in hot water.

By the way.......I never trust self proclaimed Christians.

if that was me and i got given a basket of goodies like that - i would get home, put the basket infront of the dog, take a picture of the dog eating it, and send to BM
"thankyou so much for the cookies, my dog lovvvvess them!!!"

I wouldn't be eating it.

Don't worry guys I'm not stupid enough to eat it. But now I have to send DH to the store to get me some cookies and brownies lol. SD went home with BM two days ago but these are some funny ideas lol.

I'd take it with a grain of salt. Even if she really believes it, she may go nuts again at the next big event.
The BM in my situation wanted to work on our relationship for a New Year's resolution. She really did behave herself for months. But she went crazy again when she found out we got engaged.

BM sent SS13 home with cupcakes on Christmas. I wanted to throw them in the garbage SO bad. Don't trust that wench one bit. DH figured they'd be OK because she wouldn't poison SS.

Be gracious. Say thank you. And wait a couple of years to see if the conversion is true. THEN eat her food... or make DH eat it. BM here makes this orange jello salad. It looks like vomit and taste only marginally better. But her boys like it and strangely DH does too. Must be a MidWest thing...

Orange Jello Salad???? Is that even allowed by the FDA? Somebody needs to hand BM an updated recipe book. That sounds like something you would serve at a nursing home.

Yeah, I'd be too scared that there would be razor blades in any homemade goodies OUR BM would send over.

I have fantasized about sending the skids with baked goodies for THEM (that BM would of course help herself to) containing some ingredient that she is allergic to! }:)
