Today, I was studying at the library (I have finals next week!) when SO calls in a panic because the apartment unit above ours was flooded & water was pouring in through the light fixtures & the ceiling (YAY! Perfect timing!!!)

While SO & I are trying to clean up the kitchen & put buckets out to catch water, SD9 picks up her phone & SO asks who she’s texting. She says “I’m texting my mom!”…well…2 seconds later, she comes & asks if she can call her BM. SO says “yeah, whatever, don’t care!” & less than 1 minute later, SD comes in & hands her phone to SO.

Nasty: OMG! What’s leaking??? What happened?
SO: WHAT???
Nasty: Do you have renters insurance?
SO: Really? I don’t have time to talk to you…I’M BUSY!
He passes the phone back to dumb ass SD & BM promptly hangs up the phone.

Turns out, SD9 is quite the gossip! She texted EVERYONE (all 3) of her non-resident contacts with the message “WE HAVE A LEAK!!! :’(“

Really SD? Really?

Not sure what annoys me more…the fact that SD decided to share our business with Nasty or the fact that after not having spoken to her kids in forever, she has SD call her so that she can talk to SO & quiz him on what’s going on…like she could help at all…from FL! Before anyone jumps in saying that SD can’t be blamed because “she doesn’t know”…she does! SD knows damn good & well that OUR business is OUR business & no one elses…we’ve had this discussion.

SD9 now knows that if her gossiping ways continue that she will be losing the phone.

For the record, Nasty last spoke to SD9 on her birthday which was November 20th. That phone call lasted for 3 minutes. The last time Nasty spoke to SS10 was on his birthday which was at the end of September & that one lasted for 5 minutes. No skyping since early September & the last text from her was on Thanksgiving. Yet she can manage to be nosey about our “leak” & she can call SO at LEAST 5 times in the last 2 weeks?

UGH!
