The Backslide

Well that didn't last long.  Chef has gone creeping back to the supplier that has the accounting system from hell even though the sales person he deals with openly admitted that he almost quit due to the chaos over there.

I'm also convinced this supplier is double charging us so I will be looking at my books come January 8th.  

Until they make more successive mistakes that affect Chef, he refuses to leave them and wants to give them endless chances.  Something I don't get the luxury of.

Internet supply company. They send like next day  and prices are supposedly are good. Expecally when doing big jobs. Boiler replacement. AC systems.

Do that as well but some of the prices just can't compete with the local supply houses.

It's his ability to fix everything and anything with ease.   He can swing a hammer like nobody's business.  He's often called in to fix other people's HVAC, electrical and plumbing screw ups and does forensic audits for insurance companies.

Anyways I went ahead and ordered from the old supply house that doesn't have a terrible accounting system for a job that came in today.  The price was within a couple of dollars difference from new supply house with accounting hell.

Unfortunately his ability to hang drywall, pour concrete, do masonry, do major electrical service, do rough in carpentry including kitchen cabinet hanging,, lay flooring and tiling of all types , do major plumbing jobs, put in heating and air conditioning equipment, fix foundations, fix motor vehicles, and fix everything he touches greatly increases his narcissism and huge ego.

So he is a decent handy man. What makes him a viable life partner?

You can hire people for the labor without the drama.

Could it be oncoming dementia?  I see my DH not wanting to change things, I guess that makes sense if you feel you're slipping mentally.
