For fixing the "breaks" (sic) and rotors on his jalopy.  Of course he could have LEARNED this skill from Chef a loonnnggg time ago but hell no!

Didn't look like he was helping either.  Just a photo shoot of stb FIL repairing away.  Probably because it would involve manual labor which the Gir taught them to avoid at all costs. 

Too "Chef-like."

On the bright side I guess it's good he has a good relationship with him.  Let's face it, Chef wasn't probably going to teach them jack ish....he was great at not taking responsibility back then.

Them but he was very guilty daddy then and scared shitless of the Gir.

Perhaps, but it also was a convenient excuse.  Chef was just as bad if not worse parent then Gir....the only times he did get involved at all was because you forced the issue, not because he wanted to IMO.
