A Little Victory
Just an background on my situation. I have one SS7 and three biological children. My DH and I have been married for a little over five yrs. Every since my husband and I have been together. The BM has been nothing but a crazy psycho! In the beginning I tried to be nice and communicate, but she didn't and still does not know how to be a normal, rational adult. It is all about control for her. It has never been what is in the best interest of SS7. Our latest battle was that she refused to give us any information about SS7 medical information. SS7 has ADHD bad to the point of that is our main issue when he is here, because he can't follow the rules and he becomes aggressive, because he just can't slow down. After telling her repeatedly he needs to be check for ADHD and it being a huge argument. SS7 school made her get him checked out. The poor kid has been to prek, kindergarten, first grade, and will be go into second grade all at different schools, because she is so unstable and inconsistent. Anyway, the doctor said he definitely has ADHD (dah). Put him on meds. Which she refused to give us the doctors name or his meds. (Even though legally she is to give us this information) Stating the doctor told her he didn't need it on weekends, breaks, or summer. How convenient when we have him. Which we knew was a complete lie which is what she is known for. Finally after complaining repeatedly to the court starting in April when we had him for a week during Spring Break finally in June they told her if you don't provide the info and/or meds you will be in contempt. Seriously it took that long! She texted DH the doctors name. Although, with a bunch of other normal crazy psycho bs, but he did at least get his doctors name. Which we had to make an appointment and drive two hours to take SS7 to see, because he hasn't seen him eight months. DH took him and BM cancelled his appointment. Mind you DH explained the situation to the doctor and was told that BM was not to attend etc. Doctor understood, but when the appointment was confirmed they called her to remind her about the appointment and of course she cancelled it. Anyway after reexplaining the situation the doctor saw him and we were finally given his meds! Just a small victory, but it feels huge! Since Monday after he got his meds. He has been so much better it is beyond words! I'm so thankful! Hopefully when he is here he will have a better time and won't be in time out all the time or getting in trouble all the time.

How nice to have somethomg go
How nice to have somethomg go right! I can't stand parents who take their kids on and off meds like that. Their bodies don't like being flopped back and forth with it. Just keep it steady and they handle it so much better!
They shouldn't be off for
They shouldn't be off for weekend, many people take off for the summer though due to weight loss so kids can bulk back up over the summer because if they loose too much they will be off altogether.

According to his doctor he should not be off it at all. He can't control himself when he doesn't have it and he is also to aggressive when he is not on it. It has been wonderful since we got it for him. He is much calmer and is not getting in trouble for not listening or acting out of control. So again I'm thankful for the small victory.
