Model Tamara says the first she knew of the arrangement was when she read the news on the Mail Online website - and now she has vowed to stay away from the ceremony out of loyalty to her mother Slavica, Bernie’s wife of 24 years.

Tamara believes her 23-year-old sister Petra will do likewise.

‘My first thought was for my mum because I knew she wouldn’t have known. My mum hasn’t dated since the divorce so my immediate feeling was, “How is she going to take this?”

Tamara said: ‘For me there will only ever be one Mrs Ecclestone. It’s hard for me to see my dad with someone else. All I know is my mum and dad together.

‘My loyalty and my sister’s loyalty is to our mother. We are the Three Musketeers.’

And of course "Mom" walked away with 1 billion out of the 2.5 billion Dad had made.

"For me there will only ever be one Mrs Ecclestone". Oh well, there goes Fabiana's fatal entry into stepworld, just hope she doesn't try too hard with her SDs.

On a side note, the previous headline regarding this upcoming marital union was: "So Fabiana, what first attracted you to 5ft 3in 81-year-old billionaire Bernie?" LOL

My DH is 15 years older than me. Clearly not such a huge age gap as Bernie/Fabiana but big enough that others notice.

Here are some of my/our experiences with regards to the age gap: in the early days of our relationship, BM told DH that he was nothing but a dirty old man and that our relationship wouldn't last; I've heard from a friend that another friend asked "what is Dory doing with that old dinosaur?"; a local business owner, who often saw DH and I together, asked me to pass on his regards to "my father" (meaning DH), others have also mistaken him for my father; often when DH is out with our 7 year old, someone makes a comment about him being her grandfather.

Who cares?!? It is our marriage and our marriage alone and we are, on the whole, well-suited and happy together.

He doesn't have anywhere near the kind of money that the lovely Bernie has, but I love him.

And as for the daughter's reaction, I think many SDs have responded similarly even when there wasn't such a significant age difference.

"For me there will only ever be one Mrs Ecclestone". She has ALREADY decided that she will not be accepting her father's wife-to-be.
