I think it's interesting, but typical, that in the "comments" section, most posters cannot comprehend that Ryan is suggesting that the turmoil that his family brought to Farah's life may have contributed towards her ill-health. Everyone seems to always take the side of the "children" - even when they're adults. I watched the interview (well, the parts shown in this article), and I believe Ryan O'Neal has done a lot of contemplating and may have reached the end of the road in his relationship with his adult offspring. My DH is very much at the same place right now with skids, albeit, they didn't bring THAT much drama to our door. I think some men only see the whole picture, and their own role in it, when skids become adults. Sadly by then it's often too late.
