BM went to DH newphew's wedding this past Saturday. We didn't attend because we knew that she was invited. DH called newphew, told him we will not be attending because "she" will be there. Newphew say's "we only invited her because of the kids, but you should come anyway, if she starts anything we will kick her out" DH "no I don't want to ruin your wedding cause I know it will be uncomfortable for everyone next time if you want me to attend a family gathering don't invite her. Send invitation that says TO THE SMITH KIDS, and she will get the hint, the kids can always ride with me " Okay so, I hear through one of DH's cousin, that he saw BM at the wedding and she was sitting at a table far away from everyone. Just her and "the kids" Ok,"the kids" are 20,18,16,15,14. Alright back to wedding..now DH cousin goes over to BM and ask "What are you doing sitting over here by yourself" BM "I don't know, it's not the same anymore. It feels like the family is pushing me aside" Cousin "don't feel that way, hey John has remarried and moved on but you will always be the first wife and mother of his children" Then cousin says to us "I only said anything to her because of "the kids" I didn't want them to feel like noone likes their mom and hurt their feelings" :jawdrop: WTF?? Why put that in her head?!! She will always be "the first wife".....And OMG "Feel like the family pushing you aside"?!! Hello!! What do you think divorce means idiot?!! I am sooo annoyed right now, I feel like I want to send her an e-mail. Telling her it's time to move-on!! Do you realize how desperate you look hanging around your ex-husbands family??!! GET A LIFE!!!
