Snowed in...
Still bad enough that all of our schools are cancelled again tomorrow. I'm getting lots done- cleaned two closets; under a bed. One big bag of trash. 2 bags for Goodwill. Skyped with my momma, who's in Florida on business. Graded papers, helped Gibby with homework. Monopoly, yahtzee. 3 day into South Beach "detox" phase. Easy to do, when I can't get to the store and get my favs anyway...
(Yea- found out from my doctor last week that my blood sugars are all off and counting calories doesn't really help me, I need to be watching for foods with low glycemic index. That explains why I lost 10 pounds from August to October, but nothing since then, even though I had been sticking in my calorie range...)
Loghead's had the "flu" on top of it all. I don't buy it... He seems to have energy for things he wants, but since he's so "sick" I tell him he can't have it till he's better. And taken out the trash...
I love my skids, even though they drive me crazy, but being shut up in the house like this with them since Monday night is wearing thin. Thank goodness the friend's mom was able to come get him this afternoon and she took PITA with her.
The worst part is, we are expecting more snow on Sunday night!
I have decided as soon as I get out of here, I'm going to go get my hair done and catch up on some missed tan time!

Ive been stuck in the house
Ive been stuck in the house as long as you have! Wish I was as productive as you have been though. I haven't done anything except laundry and log onto steptalk every hour! haha back to work tomorrow though, but schools have been canceled once again for tomorrow! We are expecting snow on Sundayish monday too! its only a 30% chance but still. Then wednesday we have a 60% of freezing rain and snow

I'm hoping since it was a "state of emergency" that our fearless governor will dismiss those days. I know the little school district where I work, the one where we live, and the one where Loghead works is almost 90% gravel roads. Not safe for the busses at all. I'd rather they call the day off and we get "lucky" and it not be a bad day than to put students and teachers at risk...

Yep we are in AR and everything is closed here too! Man HAD to get out tonight so dh took me out but we slid a few times so back home it is! I haven't worked all week.
