Day 3 of year 17.
My bride and I celebrated our 16th anniversary on July 30. It was a good day. We spent the day with my mom, dad brother and his family all at mom and dad's. Mom was in GrandMa heaven with both of her boys, DILs and three of her four grandkids. Our son is on his last court ordered visitation and was not with us though we did talk to him.
We all went to dinner at the Oasis, had TexMex, good rita's and watched an amazing sunset.
My bride put together a desk top flip photo album of our 16yrs of marriage. It is the coolest gift she has given me with the exception of the TomTom GPS she and our son (my SS) gave me for Father's day several years ago. TomTom keeps me from getting lost and having to hear the nagging about stopping to ask someone for directions. }:)
I gave her some Tiffany's jewelry. Thank God she is in a silver phase. If she was currently in to gold I would be getting a second job at McDonald's to cover the bill for this anniversary.
So, day 3 of year 17 is here.
On with the adventure.
Best regards.

Congratulations! We had a 70th birthday party for my MIL Sunday. I've worked for weeks secretly collecting & downloading photos from her cedar chest of her grandparents, birth parents, her baby pics all the way through her current grandchildren's pics & loaded them onto a digital frame. She was in tears watching all of those old forgotten photos pop up on the screen. She said it was the best gift she could have asked for. Photos are a wonderful way to keep memories.
As for the jewelry...ALWAYS a wonderful gift.
Personally, I prefer white gold to yellow because it's so easy to tie silver right in with it.
Congrats!!! Happy
