reaching my boiling point
Well.. this morning was horrible. I went to take a shower and there was clothes all over the floor and the counter was full of crap!! I think this morning I've about had it!! I kept telling the SD to clean up after herself .. just pick up after herself.. but nooo that doesn't happen. The bathroom counter was full of her stuff.. she never cleans up after she's done using anything in the bathroom.... I know when she lived with her Grandparents and I would have to go the bathroom it was disgusting.. I couldn't believe they would let it get that bad.. I decided I was just going to hold it till we got home. It was unimaginable seriously.. I'm not exaggerating.. it was that bad. So she now stays with us because she got kicked out of her Grandparents house for lying. Anyway.. we share this bathroom. So I would expect her to at least put her dirty clothes in the basket I put in the bathroom a few weeks ago.. her clothes don't even make it near the basket.. she is 16 years old. She does noooooo chores which is fine because she gets fantastic grades but damn.. can she please just clean up after herself. And last night she made some to eat.. then goes to her room. I get up because I wanted some cereal and the frying pan is still on the stove with now stuck food dry food on it.. and there is food on the floor that she didn't pickup and crap all over the counter. You would have thought she would pickup after herself.. but nooo. I had to pick it up because Im not going to have the kitchen a pig stie. Its just gross!! And if I try to tell her to pick up after herself nicely she just laughs and says okkkaayyy.. so today it just came out. I told her that she needed to be more clean and pick up the crap all the floor in the bathroom.. her mom is always on her side no matter if she is wrong and or dirty. She its all my fault but how the fuck is her being dirty my fault.. its ridiculous and gross.. if she wants her daughter to be dirty fine be dirty pig! But she won't be a pig around me!! Uh uhh!! No thank you ma'am.. if we do live under the same roof trust me I will tell her she is not going to be dirty.

When she leaves her shit
When she leaves her shit everywhere ~ can you call her to come clean up after herself. Call her out on it every time. The frying pan is left on the stove ~ call her into the kitchen n have her scrub the pan. Then maybe she will realize ~ it's her deal. You do it you clean it. I m not your maid. You carry your own weight in my house.
I think throwing her stuff out is gonna cause animosity n then you'll probably be responsible for replacing her items.
Call her out on it every time ~ when she complains ~ explain < I m not cleaning up after you ~ that's wasting my time. Respect my house please

DH laid down the rule in the boys bathroom and said if anyone leaves shoes and clothes in the bathroom after 30 minutes, it will be tossed in the trash. First time I caught stuff in there, I put it in the garbage out in the garage. Prince picked it out of the trash. The other day, Prince left his crap in the bathroom. I picked it up, buried in the trash bag and then tossed it in the garbage in the garage and threw more trash on top of it.
I find footballs left all over the house and when I find them, they go into the trash too. One time Prince said a sweat shirt wasn't his, which I know was a lie. Since then I've washed 2 of them and donated them to Good Will.
At first I felt guilty and I got over it. }:)

Thank you guys for all your replies and suggestions. I thought maybe I was being a little over board. It feels good to have someone on my side for a change.
